Problem
Long-term goals can feel daunting, almost impossible to define clearly. I found myself avoiding them, distracted by the urgent rather than the important. But at some point, I couldn’t fool myself anymore — I had to force myself to sit down and think deeply about my lifetime goals. This wasn’t easy, and I struggled with it. Managing them was even harder.
Solution
First, I needed to write them down and reflect on them occasionally, or else they would fade away. Then, I began breaking them down into smaller yearly, monthly, and weekly tasks. Everything changed. What once felt overwhelming became manageable, and progress started to feel within reach.
